SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NE (KTIV) -
South Sioux City police are asking for your help after someone tried to lure a child into a car. Police say at 7:45 Friday morning, they were notified of a suspicious occurrence involving student from Lewis & Clark Elementary school and a car. Police say the student told them he was walking to school in the 400 block of West 9th Street when a driver came up beside him, rolled the window down and offered him candy if he got in the car. The child said no and ran to the school.
The suspect car is described as a 4 door brown vehicle with a Hispanic driver in his early to mid 20's, bald and no facial hair. If you have any information you're asked to contact the South Sioux City Police at 402-494-7555.
