UPDATE: Arrests made in Waterloo convenience store robbery

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Waterloo police have arrested three people in connection with a convenience store robbery where a truck was rammed through the front of the store.

Officers were called to the Kwik Stop in the 4300 block of Texas Street in Waterloo at around 4:00 a.m. Monday.

Officers say a video redemption machine was broken into, pull-tab tickets were taken and an ATM was knocked over.

Later in the day, officers arrested 34-year-old Joshua Pankey, 34-year-old Cory Schanke and 19-year-old Alexis Caldwell.

All three are charged with two counts of third degree burglary.  Pankey faces additional charges of first degree criminal mischief and third degree criminal mischief.

Jail records show Pankey is being held on $50,000 cash or surety bond and Caldwell is being held on $10,000 cash or surety bond.  Bond information for Schanke was not available.
