Grandpa saved the day at the beach.
A grandfather is attracting attention in Australia for wrestling a shark away from beach goers. When the British tourist spotted a shark in shallow water near the beach, he and another man rushed in to move it away before it reached a couple of kids who were playing in the water nearby. The grandfather then pushed the shark out towards open water. Grandpa saved the day and nobody was hurt.
A city in western Turkey held its annual Camel Wrestling Championship Sunday. The event brings together two male camels who fight for the affection of a nearby female. The camels are decorated with bright saddles, headdresses, and pompons. In this year's contest, 130 camels, or 65 pairs, participated. One of the camels must run out of the arena or fall to the ground for a winner to be declared.
