Agriculture expense questionnaire being sent to farmers

Farmers and ranchers will soon be getting questions about their expenses from the Agriculture Department.

The questions are part of the national Agricultural Resource Management Survey, which asks producers about their operating expenses, production costs and their families. The results help shape federal programs that affect farmers and ranchers

Nearly 33,000 producers nationwide will be surveyed between January and April.
