SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

The Sioux City Growth Organization is calling all entrepreneurs to submit their ideas for the 2013 Innovation Market.

Organizers say it's a place for local ideas to grow.

The first place winner will get a $5,000 and just announced Wednesday, the city of Sioux City and Downtown Partners are sponsoring a second place prize of $2,500 and a possible six-month lease in a downtown office space.

"Every person who does submit an idea, will get the feedback sheet back. Lots of individuals write down contacts or different things that they can do to kind of boost that particular idea," Becca Feauto, SCGO Innovation Market Co-Chair said.

Idea submissions and RSVP's are taken until February 24th at midnight.

The Innovation Market is Tuesday, February 26th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

It's at the Commerce Building, 520 Nebraska Street Suite 500.
