UPDATE: Cedar Falls police identify man found dead in car


Cedar Falls police have identified the man found dead in a car at a condominium complex Thursday morning.

Police Chief Jeff Olson says a passerby found the man dead in a vehicle in a condominium complex in the 4600 block of Ashworth Drive in Cedar Falls at 7:30 Thursday morning.

Olson says the man was exposed to chemicals that were found inside the car and adds that the exposure may have been intentional.

Police have not said what chemical and how much of it was in the car.

Police have identified the man as 42-year-old Daren Jungers.

The state medical examiner is investigating the cause of death.
