Two Eastern Iowa School districts are combining services after facing declining enrollment and less state aid.
The board of directors for Valley Community and North Fayette Community School Districts signed an agreement for whole grade sharing last week.
Each district will maintain its pre-kindergarten through sixth grade program.
Meanwhile, the junior high students would all attend Valley's facility in Elgin and the high school students will go to the facility in West Union.
This agreement starts for the next academic year and is planned to continue for until the 2015-2016 academic year.
