STORM LAKE, Iowa (KTIV) -
Storm Lake St. Mary's is marking Catholic Schools Week and its centennial school year with a royalty reunion.
All the past homecoming kings and queens were invited to the 2013 homecoming game on Friday, 25.
Forty-seven alumni from across the country came back to support their alma mater.
That included KTIV Chief Meteorologist Ron Demers who was homecoming king in 1988.
Storm Lake St. Mary's held its first homecoming in the fall of 1962 and Carolyn Miller '63 Smith was crowned the first queen.
Also at the game, Storm Lake St. Mary's Alumni Association presented a check for $50,092 to St. Mary's School administration.
The money was raised through the St. Mary's Annual Appeal and is used to operate the local Catholic school.
