Le Mars, Iowa man enters plea in kidnapping case

LE MARS, Iowa (KTIV) -

37-year-old John Clarey of Le Mars, Iowa pleaded not guilty to assaulting a woman and keeping her from calling for help.  He faces charges of willful injury resulting in serious injury, kidnapping and domestic abuse assault.

According to court documents last month Clarey grabbed a woman when trying to leave the house and apparently drug her into the house and took her cell phone.  A trial date has not been set.
