A grand jury has indicted several people in connection with two robberies, in two Siouxland towns, within just one month last summer.
Court documents charge David Johnson, Christopher Bailey and Joshua Fields with seven federal crimes-- including "conspiracy to commit robbery," "robbery" and "possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence"-- in the robberies of Seoul Foods, in South Sioux City, in June, and at Sarg's Mini-Mart, in Sioux City, in July.
Three other suspects, Rudy Johnson, Terrence Miles, and Austin Peters, each face three charges, for their roles in the robbery of Seoul Foods.
A seventh suspect, Paige Mathison, faces four charges for allegedly serving as the "lookout", and "getaway driver" during the robbery of Sarg's Mini-Mart.
In a plea agreement, Johnson has agreed to plead guilty to all seven counts he faces. No sentencing date has been set.
The other six suspects have pleaded not guilty, and face trial on March 4th.
