Students are set to return to class Thursday at Omaha Nation Public School in Macy, Nebraska. School officials canceled classes Tuesday and Wednesday because of a water main break in town, according to the school's Facebook page. Customers on the Omaha Tribe water system have been under a boil order since Monday.
A supervisor at Stream Global Services is being recognized for supporting the military. Megan Thornburg was honored with the Patriot Award because of her support for co-worker Phlip Lyon, who serves in the National Guard and Reserve. Lyon nominated Thornburg for the award, saying he appreciates the way she accommodates his military duties and balances those with his job duties.
