Beach Boys coming to Delaware County Fair

MANCHESTER (KWWL) -

Shine up your little deuce coupe, grab your surfer girl and head over to the Delaware County Fair on July 12 to see the Beach Boys live in concert.

Fair officials announced on Friday that the Beach Boys, whose career has spanned five decades, will be the VIP concert for the 2013 Delaware County Fair.

"VIP Night is known for timeless bands and celebrated songs and the Beach Boys certainly embody the definition of what has been called the best night of the year," Jeannie Domeyer, Manager of the Delaware County Fair, said in a written statement.

Domeyer says she applauds the Fair Board's decision to bring in this ageless group.  "This band makes a lot of sense for VIP Night. I don't care how old you are, you know the classic sounds of the Beach Boys. I can't wait to see these guys play hit after hit of feel good music that speaks to everyone, " she said.

Tickets, which will once again include all you care to eat and drink during the show, will go on sale in March.
