JANESVILLE (KWWL) -
An accident at an infamous Black Hawk County intersection had traffic snarled on Friday afternoon.
Crews were called to the intersection of Highway 218 and Cedar-Wapsi Road just before 1:00 p.m. Friday afternoon for a report of an accident.
Two people were reportedly taken from the scene in ambulances.
Several deadly accidents over the last couple of years has put the intersection into the spotlight as critics, including Black Hawk County Sheriff Tony Thompson, have asked for on and off ramps to be built in that area to remove the need for traffic to cross through busy traffic.
Stay tuned to KWWL for updates as they become available.
