NEWMAN GROVE, Neb. (KTIV/US92) -
It was a tragic weekend on Northeast Nebraska roadways with two rollover crashes claiming lives Saturday morning.
The Nebraska State Patrol says around 12:30 am Saturday, 20-year-old Joshua Lytle of Page died when the vehicle he was a passenger in lost control and rolled at rural intersection west of Newman Grove. Lytle was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver, 22-year-old Rian Lloyd of Plainview and another passenger were transported to the Boone County Health Center in Albion for treatment of unknown injuries. T
he Patrol also says around 5 am, 33-year-old Samuel Hobbs of Ewing died when the vehicle he was driving lost control and rolled near a bridge along highway 275 east of Ewing.
Authorities say Hobbs was ejected from the vehicle. Along with the Nebraska State Patrol, the Holt County Sheriff's office was also involved in the investigation.
