SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Players weren't the only ones anxious for the big game.
Local restaurants started prepping at the start of last week to make sure they were ready to serve the big crowds.
Sioux City's Miles Inn expected to go through 80 to 100 pounds of beef.
Meanwhile, Bob Roe's made sure to have extra servings of finger foods on hand .
"The kitchen prepares extra wings and kind of starts with preparing pizza so that we can be ready for when we get the big orders," Alaina Madsen, server at Bob Roe's Point After said.
"First part of the week, we prepare especially for Fridays and Saturdays. It's definitely our busiest days, and you know with Super Bowl Sunday we didn't anticipate Super Bowl Sunday to be any different than a Friday or Saturday in here," Brett Lias, Miles Inn Manager.
