SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Sioux City police say they've arrested two teens in connection with a series of car burglaries on the city's northside over the past couple weeks.

Police say they were tipped off to a couple of males acting suspiciously early Monday morning in the area of 38th Street Place and Douglas.  Authorities say the tip allowed them to arrest a 17-year-old and 16-year-old.  They also recovered several items stolen in recent burglaries to cars on the northside of Sioux City.

The teens were charged with burglary, theft and possession of a weapon.
