Iowa Pipeline Association offers safety training

SPENCER, Iowa (KTIV) -

A group focused on pipeline safety is holding a series of training sessions across Iowa. The training by the Iowa Pipeline Association allows participants to use their emergency response knowledge and prevention strategies.

Officials discuss basic pipeline safety, leak recognition, hazard awareness and damage prevention.

The first session was Monday in Spencer. Several more are scheduled through the end of the month.
