DAKOTA CITY, Neb. (KTIV) -
A Siouxland woman faces charges after a fatal accident near Dakota City Nebraska in January. Twenty-seven-year-old Heather Reisdorph of Sioux City has pled not guilty to two charges of vehicular homicide.
Authorities say Reisdorph rear-ended another vehicle being driven by 57-year-old Patricia Oldenburg of Homer, Nebraska. Oldenburg's vehicle was stopped while waiting to turn off of Highway 77. Authorities say the impact, pushed Oldenburg's vehicle into oncoming traffic where it was hit again.
Oldenburg and her 3 year-old granddaughter, Regan Coenen of Sioux City died. Eight year-old Braden Coenen was injured.
Reisdorph's trial is set for April.
