SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
If you're looking for a way to tell your valentine that they're special why not say it with the gift of music.
Members of the Siouxland Discovery Chorus will be delivering "Singing Valentines" on February 14th in the Sioux City metro area and in surrounding locations.
These barbershop quartets will serenade your sweetheart this Valentine's Day.
For a $40 donation ($50 out of town), one of the quartets will deliver a song, a rose, a chocolate and a card to your sweetheart.
Call 712-259-0395 to make an appointment. They're schedule will run from 8am until 8pm on Thursday, February 14.
Siouxland Discovery Chorus was established in 1978 and currently has more than 30 members.
"Singing Valentines" help raise money for the non-profit group. The donations have recently allowed them to support The Sioux City Gospel Mission, Habitat for Humanity, Friends of Latham Park, and Siouxland Flood Relief in 2011.
Siouxland Discovery Chorus makes about 75 public appearances each year, at local churches, senior centers, club events, and company events.
