"Food for Vets" event provides free groceries

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Some Siouxland veterans will get some help putting food on the table. The group "Support Siouxland Soldiers" is sponsoring the "Food For Veterans" program.

Military men and woman who provide their military, V-A, V-F-W or Legion I-D will be given a week's worth of free groceries and some toys. Veterans can pick them up tonight at 5-14 Nebraska Street from 5:00 to 7:00 Thursday night.
