SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

They've made strides in the business community, now a Sioux City company is getting recognition.

Friday, Mayor Bob Scott thanked ACES for their commitment to the community and presented them with the "Growing Sioux City Award".

ACES came to Sioux City in 2012 with assistance from the city and state through the Target Jobs Withholding Tax Credit.  Since then, they've grown to a staff of 20 full-time employees.

"We're just thankful for people that take a risk and we're thankful for people that take that risk in Sioux City," said Sioux City Mayor Bob Scott.

ACES CEO Jim Sponder says he is looking forward to continuing to expand his company, and maybe add more jobs, in the future.
