Money is available for South Dakotans wanting to getting into the speciality crop industry.
Folks can apply for select federal funding projects.
The goal, according the South Dakota Department of Agriculture, is get people more involved in the industry.
The money can be used for many different ways including research, food safety and nutrition.
Applications are due to the state's ag. department by April 9th.
