A South Dakota senator's investment in unique advertising venue is bringing attention long after his campaign for office.

For the 2012 race, Senator Dan Lederman decided to purchase ad space on a man's head.

Featured on Friday's Steve Harvey show, Brandon Chicotsky showed off his creative business baldlogo.com which sells ad space on bald heads.

Lederman says advertising can get kind of stale, so he was drawn to Chicotsky's brand of social media for something unique.

"It's a fun way to advertise on social media and it's a good friend of mine Brandon Chicotsky," Lederman said.

Some of the proceeds from Chicotsky's ads go to help kids affected by an autoimmune disease that causes baldness.
