NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV/US92) -
The Northeast Community College's Board of Governors approved housing and meal plan rates for the 2013-2014 school year during their monthly meeting last week.
However officials with Northeast Community College say when you compare housing and meal plans from other community colleges in Nebraska, Northeast's rates are comparable to and, in many cases, lower than the others.
Starting with the 2013-14 school year, the cost of living in the campus apartments or in one of the two dormitories will see an increase of $60 to $65 per semester.
Meal plans are also seeing a slight increase.
For example, limited meal plans are going up $14 to $15 per semester, while the unlimited meal plan is increasing by $38 per semester.
Again, these slight changes on Northeast's Norfolk campus will take effect with the upcoming 2013-2014 school year.
