Sioux City firefighters get a 2.3% pay raise

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Monday night, Sioux City leaders signed off on a new contract with the local firefighters union.

Firefighters will see an increase of 2.3% over the next three years.  It's the smallest pay raise in two decades.

 Health care deductibles will also increase for firefighters.  The city is still working on a new labor agreement for local police officers.
