Valentine's Day shoppers pick up last minute gifts

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Did you get your sweetheart something special on Saint Valentine's Day?

Or are you still planning to pick something up?

The Southern Hills Hy-Vee Floral Department manager says they have 2,500 roses on hand for those last minute shoppers.

A bouquet of a dozen roses is $60 and new this year, if you want to add special accent flowers, that's $70.

Floral manager Erin Joy says they've been busy and have seen a lot of shoppers already Thursday morning.

"We've had a lot of candy and flowers or balloons. Everybody is picking out a balloon to go with their roses or bouquets," Erin Joy, the Hy-Vee Floral Manager said.

Joy says the floral department is open all day and night.

She says you can still call for deliveries too.
