Faith Regional Health Services CEO resigns

NORFOLK, Neb (KTIV/US92) -

Officials with Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, Nebraska confirm that President and CEO Jim Sinek is no longer with the hospital.

Hospital officials say Sinek tendered his resignation Friday morning, effective at 5 pm. So far, no official reason for the resignation has been given.

Officials say Sinek will stay around as a consult for the hospital on an interim basis while they search for a new director.

No timeline for a permanent replacement for Sinek has been set.

Sinek began his career at Faith Regional in late 2008, and has served in the hospital management field since 1990, which included an administrative positions at Buena Vista Medical Center in Storm Lake, Iowa.
