SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A man is sentenced to ten years for robbing a Sioux City pharmacy.

In August, police say 42 year-old Eric Evans walked into Drilling Pharmacy at 4010 Morningside Avenue with a weapon, demanded money and a type of medicine.  Court documents say he stole more than 600 dollars.  No one at the pharmacy was hurt.

Evans was convicted on one charge of second-degree robbery.  He will have to serve at least seven years.
