SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
People shopping inside a Sioux City Select Mart were startled Sunday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses say a woman driving an SUV passed out at the wheel of her vehicle while parking her car in front of the Phillips 66 gas station on Gordon Drive.
They say the vehicle went over the curb and then stopped, just missing the building. When store employees came outside they saw damage to the bumper and the woman blacked out.
An ambulance took her to the hospital.
"I didn't see anything I just heard the bang, and then went to get in the car. It was locked and she was unconscious," said Traci Heath, a Select Mart employee.
The driver and her condition is unknown at this hour.
