A bidder paid $629,000 for the jacket. It was one of more than 700 pieces piece of Kennedy memorabilia auctioned off, Sunday. Other lots included documents, photographs, letters, and gifts. They all come from the estate of David Powers, a longtime friend and assistant of JFK. Other memorabilia included a birthday card given to JFK by his son, John Junior.
