SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Siouxland from Wednesday night into Thursday.
Cold temperatures will dominate the tri-state Tuesday.
Look for partly cloudy skies with flurries Tuesday morning.
Skies will gradually clear leaving us mostly sunny, but expect temperatures to only make into the teens and northwest winds will still be quite breezy with gusts near 35 mph. Skies will remain mostly clear tonight with lows near zero.
Winds will lighten up some Tuesday night, between 5-15 mph, resulting in wind chills ranging between -10 and -15.
Clouds will increase Wednesday ahead of our next system.
Expect snow to start overnight on Wednesday in south and western areas and spread north and east thru Thursday.
Locally, the Siouxland area could possibly see six or more inches.
