Sioux City man pleads to Thanksgiving Day stabbing

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A Sioux City man has pleaded guilty in a Thanksgiving Day stabbing.

As part of a plea agreement, 23-year-old Anthony Walker pled guilty to willful injury. A second charge was dropped.

Authorities say Walker, and 23 year old Efrain Valencia-Aguilera, of South Sioux City, were watching a fight outside 1622 Ingelside Avenue. That's when, according to documents, Walker stabbed a teen standing nearby.

Sentencing for Walker is set for April. Valencia-Aguilera is charged with theft. His trial is set for April.
