Arrest made in connection with Nebraska burglaries

MADISON, Neb. (KTIV/US92) -

Madison County Sheriff's officials say they have arrested one person in connection with a string of burglaries in northeast Nebraska.

Sheriff's officials say 20 counts of burglary have been filed, along with one count of motor vehicle theft, after the suspected burglar was arrested Thursday.

Police have been investigating a string of burglaries that targeted numerous businesses in Norfolk, Battle Creek and other towns in Nebraska.

An initial court date in the case has not been set.
