Pick-up rolls into ditch off of Highway 20

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Two people were taken to the hospital after a crashing their pick-up into a ditch.

Woodbury County Sheriffs Deputies said they received the call around 7:00 Sunday night.

They said the driver of this truck lost control near mile marker five on Highway 20.

"The vehicle left the roadway and then they over steered or over-corrected came back onto the roadway and then left and rolled down into the ditch," said Woodbury Country Sheriff Deputy, Derek Brand.

Brand says the driver and a passenger inside of the truck were able to get out and walked to the ambulance.  Both were taken to St. Luke's Regional Medical Center.

At this time, deputies do not believe speed was a factor.
