Last week's snow storm left many cars buried in Sioux City
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
The Sioux City Police Department is putting out the call for car owners to move their snowbound vehicles immediately. Those are cars that were buried by last week's snowstorm and haven't been moved since.
Those snowbound vehicles limit the ability of the plow drivers to effectively clear the roadways and they pose a hazard to other vehicles.
City ordinance prohibits parking on city streets for more than 24 hours.
Starting at 8:00 o'clock Tuesday morning, Sioux City Police will start towing snowbound vehicles without further notice.
