Sioux City man charged after driving vehicle into dental office

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A Sioux City man is charged after police say he drove his pick-up into a dental office early Monday morning.

It happened around 2:15 a.m. at Family Dental Center on Morningside Avenue. Police say, the driver, John Reed, also hit a water line, causing a major leak.

No one was hurt.

The dental office is expected to re-open tomorrow morning.

Reed is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to maintain control.
