The owner of a Northwest Iowa bar, destroyed by fire, says he hopes to rebuild.
Firefighters were called to the Bronson Bar and Grill around 5:30 Sunday morning.
At this point, authorities believe the fire started in the kitchen.
The bar has been a fixture for decades.
The current owner said if the insurance comes through, he hopes to rebuild.
"All of them and I say all of them want us to rebuild. They need that in their town. Like I said, in Bronson there's not a whole lot of businesses and so it is very much a needed thing in that Lawton Bronson area," said owner Dan Lewis.
Lewis says he's very thankful for the efforts of all the fire crews and departments that responded.
