SERGEANT BLUFF, Iowa (KTIV) -
A Siouxland team gets top honors in a battle of brains. The Pioneer Valley 4-H First Tech Challenge team called Adrenaline Tech competed for a chance at the World Championships.
The first-year team from Sergeant Bluff got second place at the state championship in Iowa City this past weekend.
They got beat out by veteran team, Combustibles Lemons, out of Davenport, who gets to move on in the competition.
As part of the competition teams had to build robots.
Students started assembling their robots back in September and then went through five rounds of competition to make it to the state championship.
