Graduation rates rise in Sioux City Community School District

Sioux City's Community School District has seen an increase in its graduation rate.

The district's 2012 graduation rate rose to more than 84%, which is up 5% from 2010.

School officials also say its drop out rate among high schoolers dropped more than three percent.

Superintendent Doctor Paul Gausman says these numbers are a result of hard work by staff and students.
