Exhibit displays 94 art projects from middle school students.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
They might not be Picasso or Van Gogh, but Siouxland middle school students are getting the chance to display their work at the Sioux City Art Center.
Winners of this year's Youth Art Exhibition were chosen by a local artist, but Art Center visitors can cast votes for their favorite.
The two winners of the People's Choice Award will each receive $100.
The Art Center director says the exhibit is something he looks forward to.
"Usually they're not has inhibited as you get older so the work is really fresh and exciting, interesting, a lot of interesting color. I always love the portraits especially," said Al Harris-Fernandez, Art Center Director.
There are 94 projects on display this year.
The exhibit runs through April 7th.
