This year will mark the third annual curling tournament held at Sioux City's IBP Ice Center.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Ever been curling before?
If not, you might get your chance at this year's curling clinic and competition.
This year's tournament runs March 22nd and 23rd at Sioux City's IBP Ice Center.
Teams practice on the first night with a competition the following day.
An event organizer says they're making room this year for even more teams.
"The past two years, we've only had two lanes due to equipment. This year, we've located some additional equipment, so we can offer a third lane. So that'll open it up to another eight teams for a total of 24," said Todd Lien, IBP Ice Center Coordinator.
There's a fee of $100 per team.
First and second place teams, along with those with the best uniforms, will receive prizes.
