Kelsey Bolte was inducted into the IGHSAU in her first year of eligibility.

During halftime of the 2A Championship game in Iowa, former Battle Creek-Ida Grove and Cyclone standout Kelsey Bolte was honored and inducted in to the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Hall of Fame.
Bolte led the Falcons to their first state tournament as a combined program in 2004, and ended her prep-career as the only player in state history with more than 2,000 points (2,026), 1,000 rebounds (1,016) and 500 steals (516).
The BC-IG grad, continued her hoops career at Iowa State, guiding the Cyclones to the NCAA Tournament in each of her four years, including an Elite Eight appearance in 2009.
"I was really excited. I never really thought about it and then you hear about it and you see the names that in the Hall of Fame all ready, and it's a really big honor," Bolte said. "I'm blessed to be on that list now."
Bolte currently works as the coordinator of basketball operations at Drake University.
