55 vendors were at the Estherville Farm Show this weekend.
ESTHERVILLE, Iowa (KTIV) -
Folks in Estherville, Iowa got a sneak peak of a spring staple Saturday.
Tractors and other farm equipment ready for the planting season were on display at the Estherville Regional Wellness Center, where the farm and home expo was taking place.
Folks went up and down the aisles to browse products for inside and outside the home. More than 50 vendors took part. About 50 percent were from Estherville, but the rest were from the Lakes Region and Minnesota. Many were offering free samples and discounts. There were even activities for kids, like mini-golf and a money grab.
"We had quite a few new people this year, which I think is nice. It's good to offer a variety because if you have the same vendors year after year, you're probably not going to get the same visitors back. So, it's nice to have a diverse offering of vendors and a number of new ones," said Stephanie Nessl, executive director of the Estherville Chamber of Commerce.
The farm show has been taking place in Estherville since the '70s.
