Iowa Boys State Basketball begins Monday

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

The Iowa Boys State Basketball Tournament begins Monday in Des Moines, Iowa.  Five Siouxland squads will be making the trip in the hopes of returning with a championship.

In Class 1A No. 2 Storm Lake St. Mary's begins it's title quest against unranked Riverside, Oakland Monday at 12:15 p.m.  4th ranked Boyden-Hull battles No. 5 Lone Tree at 2 p.m.

On Tuesday, 9th ranked Sheldon plays unranked Pella Christian in the first round in Class 2A action beginning at 12:15 p.m.  In 3A, the Dutch of MOC-Floyd Valley (No. 9) open with Grinnell at 2 p.m.

The lone representative of 4A, 7th ranked Sioux City North plays Cedar Falls Wednesday, at 1:05 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena.
