A machine shed on fire near Norfolk, NE is a total loss

Near Norfolk, Neb. (US92/KTIV) -

Norfolk Firefighters say they were called to 83386 556th Avenue, about three miles south of the airport for a shed on fire Monday morning.

Officials had to block off a two-mile radius because of anhydrous ammonia and propane tanks on the property.

The Madison Fire Department also responded to the fire.

Officials say the shed is a total loss, but are still investigating the cause of the fire.
