American Legion gives to Goodwill Industries

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A helping hand for Goodwill Industries in Sioux City.  Monday, the American Legion of Iowa presented the group with a $1,000 check.  Goodwill CEO John Hantla received the check from Bud Vander Well, American Legion 9th District Commander, Tom Baach, Monahan Post Le Mars and Russ Kimpson, Monahan Post Sioux City.

The money will be used to purchase a new floor scrubber for Goodwill Industries' Janitorial Services which delivers services to a variety of businesses and government entities.

Goodwill trains people with disabilities and other barriers to employment to perform a wide variety of tasks or jobs.  Both private and public businesses outsource specific tasks like our janitorial services, which are tailored to meet specific requirements and customer specifications.
