SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The group Feeding South Dakota received nearly 10,000 eggs from local Sioux Falls area farmers.
For several years now, United Egg Producers have donated eggs to food pantries during the Easter season.
Earlier this week, a pallet of 180-dozen eggs arrived at Feeding South Dakota's warehouse to make sure those in need are able to get one of the best sources of protein.
Farmers say being able to give is just one part of their job.
The donated eggs will last about three weeks between the 300 families the pantry feeds in Sioux Falls.
