Svitlana Ivanchenko uses sand and shells to create unique works of art.
A folk artist from Ukraine is getting a lot of attention for her work using sand and sea shells.
Svitlana Ivanchenko collects sand and sea shells during visits to the beach at the Black Sea. After drawing with pencil she glues on the shells and sand to produce a picture. Ivanchenko has no formal training, but she's been doing this for 20 years.
Recently, the curator of the local art museum discovered her work and she will soon have her first exhibit.
