VERMILLION, S.D. (KTIV) -
Governor Dennis Daugaard, and a software services company, announced Wednesday that 1,000 information technology jobs are coming to South Dakota as part of a growing effort to keep high-tech positions from being shipped overseas.
Daugaard helped announce Eagle Creek Software Services will expand into Vermillion building a new $10-million technology center.
The expansion will create 1,000 jobs statewide over the next three to five years. Two hundred of those jobs will be at the Vermillion center.
