Royal DSM exec to oversee Poet-DSM ethanol venture at Emmetsburg

Two Siouxland governors are talking biofuels.  South Dakota governor Dennis Daugaard and Iowa Governor Terry Branstad met for the Governor's Biofuels Coalition at POET in Sioux Falls.  Wednesday's meeting focused on the federal renewable fuels standard.  The governors say they need to continue to educate the public and encourage ethanol fuel production across the country.

Business expansion to benefit community and college students     

Eagle Creek Software Services is expanding and that means more than a thousand new jobs are coming to Siouxland.  The company is building a new $10-million technology center in Vermillion, South Dakota.  The expansion will create 1,000 jobs statewide over the next three to five years.  Two hundred of those jobs will be at the Vermillion center.
